About 70 percent of US adults feel financial stress and nearly 60 percent admit to living paycheck to paycheck, according to a CNBC survey released Tuesday. The poll, which surveyed 4,336 American adults in late March, found that nearly 6 in 10 respondents cited inflation as the main contributor to financial stress, followed by economy-wide instability (43 percent), rising interest rates (36 percent) and a lack of savings (35 percent).
