Shandong acrobats wow in South Korea

Artists from the Ningjin Acrobatics Troupe from Ningjin county, Dezhou, Shandong province recently completed their run at a theater in South Korea, winning thunderous applause for acrobatic acts such as aerial silk and hoop diving.

The acrobatics of Ningjin is a national intangible cultural heritage. The county troupe has performed in countries including Saudi Arabia, Russia and Thailand, gaining a reputation for innovative artistic styles and exquisite performances.
