Google faces trial in DOJ antitrust case

The US Department of Justice opened its antitrust case against tech giant Google on Tuesday. Google pays more than $10 billion a year to Apple, Samsung and others to maintain its position as the default search engine on computers and mobile devices, according to the Justice Department, shutting out competitors and stifling innovation in the industry.
