Sources close to Apple Inc denied market rumors on Wednesday that the China-made iPhone 15 series are for the European and American market, and the India-made iPhone 15 lineup is for the Chinese market.
The sources told China Daily that India now only makes about 7 percent of all iPhones, and China makes about 90 percent of iPhones.
China is one of the largest markets for Apple, and the production capacity of India can not meet the demand in China, they added.
