5.2-magnitude quake hits 196 km SE of Katsuura, Japan -- USGS

BEIJING -- A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted 196 km southeast of Katsuura, Japan at 0913 GMT on Sunday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 16.1 km, was initially determined to be at 33.83 degrees north latitude and 141.74 degrees east longitude.
