China opposes US placing Chinese enterprises on export control list

China has urged the United States to immediately cease its unwarranted suppression of Chinese companies, and the country will resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of its businesses, said the Ministry of Commerce on Thursday.

The ministry's comments came as the US government put a further 13 Chinese companies, such as Fulian Precision Electronics (Tianjin) Co and Shenzhen Jia Li Chuang Tech Development Co, on its Unverified List on Tuesday. The Unverified List, a trade restriction list, is published by the US Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security.

China has noticed this development. The US actions, which overlook the established facts of bilateral cooperation and harm the basis of mutual cooperation, have hindered businesses from conducting normal economic and trade activities. These measures have also disrupted market norms and undermined the international economic and trade order, the ministry stated in its online release.
