China's He Lifeng and US Treasury's Shambaugh discuss economic relations

Chinese Vice-Premier He Lifeng met with Jay Shambaugh, Under Secretary for International Affairs at US Treasury and his delegation in Beijing on Tuesday to discuss China-US economic and trade relations.
The meeting, which took place during the third gathering of the China-US Economic Working Group, emphasized the importance of implementing the crucial consensus which was reached between the two countries' leaders.
He Lifeng stressed the need for both sides to leverage the channels provided by the China-US Economic Working Group to deepen exchanges, build consensus, and foster stable economic relations. The goal, he emphasized, was to ensure mutual benefits for businesses and citizens of both nations.
