First US "Splendid China Tour" group departs

The first US "Splendid China Tour" group on Feb 25 departed from Los Angeles International Airport on Air China. The tour, jointly launched by Air China, the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles and the National Tourism Administration, has been warmly welcomed by local travelers in North America. The 11 members of the inaugural group will visit Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shenzhen before returning on March 5. They are looking forward to their trip to China.
