At Xiangquan village in Luoyang, Henan province, an entrepreneurship base is bustling in activity with machines roaring and vehicles shuttling back and forth, painting a picture of busy scenes.

"Our base is equipped with four workshops, and there are three other enterprises of our scale, altogether providing employment to over 150 people," said Bai Junjie, a staff member at Luoyang Kaibang CNC Machinery Equipment Co Ltd.

When the company first settled in the base, there were concerns that dealing with electricity-related matters would be time-consuming and laborious due to its rural location, Bai said.

"But later, seeing the 'Village Network Co-Construction' electricity convenience service point, I finally felt at ease," he added.

In recent years, Luoyang has actively promoted the "Village Network Co-Construction," establishing a mechanism where technical personnel and electricity liaison officers collaborate to provide quality services for electricity users and rural vitalization projects.

In Xiangquan, the local power supplier serves over 600 households of residents and industrial and commercial users, providing services such as hazard inspection and emergency handling, forming a "Village Network Co-Construction" governance pattern that facilitates easy reach of power services.

Since the pattern was first introduced into the village in 2023, it has conducted 13 inspections of electricity facility hazards for villagers and village enterprises, assisting over 40 households in replacing aging, damaged wires and switches, said State Grid Luoyang Power Supply Co.
