"My firm received a large number of orders after the Chinese New Year festival and thereby has a surging demand for electricity," said Li Shuangqing, manager of Yantai Liuxin New Material Technology Co Ltd. This firm has just resumed production after the recent long vacation.

Based in Qixia, a county-level city of Yantai, Shandong province, the firm focuses on producing new electronic materials, which will be sold to more than ten countries and regions, including Europe, the US, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia.

"Despite our busy production schedule, my firm has no worries about electricity use because the local power supplier is giving us strong support," said Li.

According to Li, the State Grid's Qixia Power Supply Co has sent staff to visit local firms after the Spring Festival, to inspect their electrical rooms and production halls and identify and eliminate electrical hazards. Besides, through in-depth communications with the owners, the staff gathered the firms' requirements and learned about their production statuses, electrical loads, and development plans.

The power supplier said that with more firms getting back to business, it would further strengthen the dynamic analysis of their production and customize plans for the firms to use electricity smartly and lower electrical bills. It will also interpret power supply policies for the firms and actively introduce electrical safety tips to them.

Meanwhile, online customer service platforms, such as the "State Grid Online" app, will be further promoted to the firms, making it more convenient for them to use all kinds of services, including energy efficiency evaluation and electricity consumption optimization.
