KYIV -- At least 13 people were injured on Thursday in Russia's missile attack on the Ukrainian capital, the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) said in a statement.
The debris from intercepted missiles and blast waves damaged two high-rise apartment buildings in the central Shevchenkivskyi district and the western Svyatoshynkyi district.
A transformer substation in the central Podilskyi district caught fire following the attack.
The Russian military fired two ballistic missiles, Iskander-M and Kinzhal, and 29 cruise missiles from 11 Tu-95MC bombers against Ukraine overnight Wednesday, said Ukraine's Air Force, adding all missiles were shot down by Ukraine's air defense in the Kyiv region.
