Kunming hospitals under scrutiny for alleged male private parts services

The Comprehensive Supervision and Law Enforcement Bureau of the Kunming Health Commission has set a joint investigation team with relevant law enforcement departments to investigate male private parts bath services allegedly provided by two hospitals in Kunming, Yunnan province, according to a statement released by the bureau on Wednesday.

The statement said that, based on the investigation results, further actions will be taken in accordance with the law and regulations.

According to a report from ThePaper.cn, small cards have recently appeared in various places around Kunming, claiming to offer "private parts bath services" for males for 98 yuan ($13.54).

After scanning the QR code on the card, information about two private hospitals in Kunming—Yunnan Kindness Hospital and Guandu Minsheng Hospital — can be found.

A customer service representative from Yunnan Kindness Hospital stated through their official WeChat account that the service is operated by beautiful nurses who use hydrotherapy equipment to provide water therapy for male private parts, which can improve conditions such as prostatitis and kidney deficiency.

The hospital has set up a specific treatment area for the services, including five treatment rooms.

The report said the two hospitals provided the services without following the standard consultation, registration, and payment procedures and are suspected of providing adult services under the guise of medical treatments.
