On May 25th, the "International Youth Explore Tujia Village" cultural exchange event took place in Xiaonanhai's Thirteen Villages in Chongqing's Qianjiang district. Ten young people from Russia, Vietnam, Cambodia and other countries were invited to Qianjiang to experience the vibrant Tujia culture through activities such as sightseeing, observing folk customs and tasting local delicacies.

In the picturesque month of May, Xiaonanhai's rippling waters and the verdant Thirteen Villages create a stunning natural panorama. At the Tujia Thirteen Villages in Xiaonanhai town, the international youth visited various locations including the Folk Museum and the Xilan Kapu Theme Park, immersing themselves in the unique Tujia folk culture. Under the guidance of intangible cultural heritage inheritors, they tried their hands at making Kapu Tujia embroidery, tasted Qianjiang chicken giblets and other Tujia specialties, and joined local villagers in the traditional hand-waving dance, experiencing the unique charm of the Tujia village firsthand.
