Maiden voyage: Thailand to Laos train adventure

The first passenger train embarked on its journey from Bangkok's Apiwat Central Station in Thailand to Vientiane's Kham Sawad Station in Laos on Friday. Join China Daily reporter Yang Wanli on this inaugural international cross-border train ride, delving into a unique travel experience.

After the train service commences, passengers can take a taxi to transfer to the China-Laos Railway's Vientiane Station, where they can board trains to destinations such as Luang Prabang in Laos, Xishuangbanna and Kunming in Southwest China's Yunnan province.
