As the director of a Beijing-style wooden furniture museum, Liu frequently introduces the exhibits and the characteristics of wooden furniture craftsmanship to visiting children.
The museum also offers workshops where children can create small wooden toys featuring mortise-and-tenon structures, allowing them to experience the craft firsthand.
"Our goal is to bring intangible cultural heritage into every home, increase the appreciation for wooden furniture and attract more enthusiasts to the industry to ensure the continued preservation of this craft," Liu says.
