Printer and supply chain conference held in Weihai

Recently, the China Printer and Supply Chain Conference 2024 was held in Weihai high-tech zone, Shandong province, discussing the latest trends in the printer industry, strengthening exchanges and cooperation between upstream and downstream enterprises in the supply chain, and promoting technological innovation and industrial upgrading, attracting more than 500 representatives around the globe.
As a pillar industry in Weihai, the printer industry has attracted 6 enterprises on the Fortune Global 500 list, such as Hewlett-Packard and Lenovo, and 9 world-class projects with over 100 million dollars and developed more than 120 local enterprises in the sector, covering a complete industrial chain including research and development, design and manufacturing, and marketing and services.
The operating income of the cluster-oriented industry exceeded 20 billion yuan ($2.77 billion) by 2023, according to data from the local government, who estimated that by 2025, its printer production capacity will exceed 30 million units.
Focusing on policy environment, opportunities, establishment of efficient and convenient office ecology and innovation of domestic printers, representatives of renowned enterprises such as Hewlett-Packard and M&G Stationery shared their development experiences.
