High-quality winter tourism products will be rolled out to meet the rising public enthusiasm for winter fun, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism said on Monday.

Related parties will improve service quality and provide the public with a wider variety of travel options.

The country's domestic tourist visits approached 4.3 billion in the first nine months of the year, as 19 top-rated scenic spots were recently unveiled and more than 250 rural tourism routes and 12 winter travel routes across the country have been developed, the ministry reports.

More efforts will be made to promote the deep integration of culture and tourism, explore the cultural connotations of traditional festivals, and ensure that tourism products reflect a stronger New Year spirit, a richer cultural flavor and a warmer human touch.

"We have guided various regions to tailor their offerings based on local conditions, focusing on traditional ice and snow folk culture, as well as winter tourism products with distinct regional characteristics," says Wei Lizhong, an official with the ministry's resource development division.

Discounts and deals will be in place to encourage consumption, according to the ministry.
