The upcoming gala will leverage the natural scenery to evoke imagery from the Qixi Festival's legend.[Photo provided to China Daily]

In addition, the gala will feature the legendary stories of Hanshan and Shide, two Chinese Buddhist monks and hermit poets who lived in solitude in a temple on Tiantai Mountain — a renowned scenic area known for its natural beauty.
