BEIJING - China urges Japan to stop testing the bottom line of international justice with its nuclear ambitions, said a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman on Friday.

Spokesman Guo Jiakun's remarks came after a senior Japanese official said that Japan should have nuclear weapons.

The recent noises from the Japanese side about nuclear weapons reflect the growing ambition of right-wing conservative forces in Japan to revive militarism, break free from the international order, and accelerate the country's "remilitarization", Guo told a regular press briefing.
