At the Chinese Traditional Culture Museum, a reconstructed open-air theater — modeled on those once seen at temple fairs and villages — has become the stage for a wide range of folk performances from across the country, many of them now preserved as intangible cultural heritage.

Recently, the theater hosted opera singing, martial arts and dancing by artists from Huangyan district in Taizhou, Zhejiang province. People from the district gave vivid performances showcasing its history and tradition, complemented by a display of creative products inspired by local folk customs and cuisines.
