Collection of China's new party chiefs

Zhao Kezhi appointed as Party chief of Southwest Guizhou province, replacing Li Zhanshu, Xinhua reported on July 18, 2012.

The Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee recently decided Zhao Kezhi to be the secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the CPC, replacing Li Zhanshu.

Li will be given other appointment.

Zhao Kezhi a native of Laixi city in East China's Shandong province.

He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in 1975.

Zhao served as deputy CPC chief in East China's Jiangsu province between April 2006 and August 2010.

He was elected the governor of Guizhou in 2010.

Li Zhanshu, 62, was elected secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on April 19, 2012.

The election was held at the first plenary session of the 11th CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee.
