Sir Sean Connery has been voted the 'best Bond of all time' in a poll conducted by SFX magazine.
The veteran actor beat off Pierce Brosnan to second position in the competition, who was followed by Sir Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and George Lazenby.
The survey of 3,000 readers also named Connery's 1964 outing 'Goldfinger as the 'best Bond film' of the series.
"Connery is the still the ultimate 007," BBC quoted SFX editor Dave Bradley as saying.
He also said that the new Bond, Daniel Craig, will have to do a lot to win audiences' likings.
"New Bond Daniel Craig has very tough acts to follow," he said.
Craig debuts as Bond in 'Casino Royale', a film based on the first of Ian Fleming's celebrated spy novels, which releases on November 17. (ANI)
