"Moli" is a word of Dai language, meaning "a beautiful waterfall". It is also named "Zhaduo", meaning "Buddha's footprints" in Dai language.

A clear giant footprint of left toe palm was embedded in a rock inside a pavilion. All believers come to offer gold powder to decorate it, making the footprint more vivid. And behind the pavilion is Big Buddha Temple, where Buddhist festivals are held.

Legend has it that Buddha once preached at Mongyue Buddhist Temple in Ruili. His disciples quarreled over creeds. Buddha tried in vain to mediate and solve the conflicts, and fled in anger to preach and practice evangelism in Zhaduo Cave alone.
