Dahua recovers from flood

The Dahua Yao autonomous county in Hechi, Guangxi, is recovering from the rainstorm on June 13-14.

The severe flood disaster has improved in parts of local villages. Officials and the public are actively carrying out disaster rehabilitation to reduce losses.

According to the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional Department of Civil Affairs, eight people died and three were missing due to the flood disaster, up to 5:00 pm on June 17. The disaster damaged 52,920 hectares of crops and 864,600 people in Guangxi.

Hechi is located in the northwestern part of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and the southern foothills of the Yungui Plateau.
