1. The Hometown of Dinosaurs Erenhot is world famous for its dinosaur fossils. It is where dinosaur eggs were first discovered in China. Dinosaur Landscape Avenue in Erenhot promotes dinosaur culture, as well as creating a comprehensive dinosaur brand and developing dinosaur tourism.
2.The gateway of Erenhot
The gateway of Erenhot, honored as "the Northern Gate of China", is in the military area of the northen Erlian city, covering an area of 1.3 millionsquare meters, and its most northern point is near the border between China and Mongolia. When we stand on the gateway, looking towards the north, we can see the exotic scenery, such as the Mongolian border town Zamin-Uued and groups of Mongolian yurt. Chinese railways are standard tracks while Mongolian railways are broad tracks. So trains to Mongolia or Russia have to change wheel sets in Erenhot before they begin their journey.
4. Highway port of Erenhot The operation of the Erenhot highway port began in 1992, but it was a mixed road used for both passenger and goods transport. The infrastructure and inspection conditions were very simple then. To modernize Erenhot highway port, the government expanded it in July, 2000, greatly improving its customs clearance efficiency.
5. The cityscape of Erenhot From these new buildings, we can conclude that Erenhot is a city with a short history. It only began to develop in recent years. The blue sky of this frontier town is quite unreal. The road is broad and most of the crossings you walk through have no traffic lights.
