A containment boom is deployed to contain the seawater polluted by oil from a pipeline blast in Qingdao's Jiaozhou Bay, Nov 23, 2013. About 3,000 square meters of ocean has been polluted after an oil pipeline explosion in Shandong province's Qingdao city on Friday killed 52 and left 136 in hospital, 11 missing. The blast occurred at 10:30 am on Friday in Huangdao district, after crude oil leaked from a pipeline into the municipal pipe network. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
