The launching ceremony of the film and TV projects Shaanxi Opera, written by Jia Pingwa, was held in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province on Jan 8, 2012.
Altogether 130 couples donning Chinese costumes took part in a group wedding ceremony based on Han Dynasty (206BC- AD220) traditions in Xi'an on May 1, 2012.
