Artist creates beauty from dust

Where do you draw pictures, on the paper, on the wall or on the beach sand? A retired teacher has found an unusual canvas - dusty window of a van.

Xiao Xiangzhong, a 67-year-old retired art teacher, sketches portraits of ladies in traditional Chinese costumes in the dust of an unwashed van window in Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan province. After a passersby took the photos of his sketches and posted them on Internet on Thursday, his drawing became a hit.

Many Internet users said masters conceal themselves among masses. A microblogger using the name Sujin-sunshine said the van owner will not get the vehicle washed after seeing the beautiful drawings.
