Macao's H1N1 confirmed cases climb to 953

MACAO: Macao reported 53 newly confirmed cases of Influenza A/H1N1 on Monday, bringing the cumulative number of such cases to 953 so far.

The newly confirmed cases comprised 28 female patients and 25 male patients whose ages ranged from nine months to 50, Macao's Health Bureau said.

According to the statistics from the Bureau, some 12 patients who tested positive for the virus were still receiving medical treatments to date, but their health conditions, except for an ailing patient, remained stable.
