Exhibition marks army anniversary in Shanghai

To mark the 90th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army, a new exhibition named Our Troops are Facing the Sun opened at the Shanghai Library on Tuesday, showcasing 90 pieces of artwork, including Chinese paintings, oil works and watercolors.
Also on display are 150 calligraphy works demonstrating poems created by leaders and generals that founded the People's Republic of China, such as Mao Zedong, Chen Yi and Su Yu.
The exhibition runs until August 5.
