3D printed bus stop debuts in Shanghai

The world's first 3D printed bus station, which was built by a Chinese company, has been unveiled in Fengjing town of Shanghai's Jinshan district.

The bus stop, which measures 5.1 meters long, 1.5 m wide and 2.7 m high, is currently being used as part of the Fengjing Line 4 bus service and can accommodate more than 10 passengers.

According to the company, the printing material used to create the bus stop is environmentally friendly ink made using recycled industrial waste.
