An Inner Mongolia autonomous region acrobatic troupe has won the Golden Bear Award – the top prize at the International Circus Art Festival in Izhevsk, Russia.
The group was China’s sole representative at the festival, which ran March 6-10 and featured 21 troupes from 15 countries and regions, including the UK, France, Australia, and the US,
Their award-winning performance, Six Persons Kicking Bowls, was defined by a strong sense of ethnic identity and regional culture.
