An experiment with up to 36 people lying in bed simultaneously to simulate the effects on the human body experienced in a weightless space environment recently concluded at a research institute in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong province, Xinhua reported.

During the experiment, 36 recruited male volunteers rested in beds that were tilted head-down at a six-degree angle for 90 days, setting a new record number of people who stay in bed at the same time in experiments of the same kind.
