'Blue Man Group' comes to Beijing

Award-winning global theatrical production Blue Man Group is touring nine Chinese cities in 11 weeks, including Nanjing of Jiangsu province, Xi'an of Shaanxi province, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

Now, the bald, blue trio is staging 15 shows in Beijing from Nov 27 to Dec 8 at Tianqiao Performing Arts Center.

Since debuting in New York in 1991, the Blue Man Group's live show, which is a celebration of human connection through art, music, comedy and non-verbal communication, has reached more than 35 million people worldwide. In 2016, the show, which is performed by actors hidden behind blue makeup, made its debut in China and well received by audiences.

In 2017, Blue Man Group was sold to Cirque du Soleil, the Montreal-based circus and entertainment company.
