Top 10 regions with most postgraduate students

Beijing had the most of postgraduate students in higher education institutions in 2019, accounting for over 15 percent of the country's total with 639,666, according to data recently released from the Ministry of Education.

The data included the number of doctorate degrees and master's degrees awarded last year.
