She explores each remote village on foot, eats, labors and lives with Tajiks, and has fostered an intimate friendship with local people. As a professional photographer, she uses her cameras to fully capture the lifestyle and spiritual world of Tajiks, as well as record the changes in the Pamirs Plateau in the past decade.

Li has won the 13th Golden Statue Award for China Photography, the highest award for Chinese photographers, and her works have been collected by many art institutions and collectors worldwide.

Let's enjoy some of her work.
