Market research provider Canalys showed that in the second quarter, Apple saw its share in the tablet market fall from 45 percent in 2020 to 31 percent, partly due to the pandemic impact in China, but also due to the resurgence of vendors, such as Samsung and Lenovo, which have capitalized on renewed demand for tablets in the consumer space.
