Top 10 fastest countries by mobile internet

China ranked fourth in the world by mobile internet download speed this year according to Speedtest by Ookla, a web testing and network diagnostics company.

The United Arab Emirates and South Korea maintained their first and second place rankings in 2021, with Qatar at No 3, according to the company's global index that tracks countries' internet speed.

Global mobile download speeds saw an increase of 59.5 percent to 55.07 Mbps from July 2020 to July 2021.

South Korea and the UAE stood out with mobile download speeds that were over 240 percent faster than the global average, and China was about 180 percent faster than the global average, the company's statistics showed.
