London has been named the world's most "magnetic" city for the 10th year in a row, followed by New York and Tokyo, the latest Global Power City Index showed.
Produced by the Tokyo-based Mori Memorial Foundation, the annual report ranks the world's major cities according to their "magnetism" – in other words, their ability to attract people, capital and businesses from around the world.
A total of 48 cities were ranked in the index through six criteria: economy; research and development; cultural interaction; liveability; environment and accessibility.
