Soprano Chen Xiaoduo: Lin Huiyin seeks to protect cultural heritage
A famed Chinese architect and intellectual of the 20th century, Lin Huiyin (1904-55) dedicated her passion to protecting the legacy of Chinese history and culture.
"I think she is a remarkable woman. She is beautiful. Yet she is a humanist. She is culturally conscious as an intellectual, and she has heartfelt love and care for the country's historical relics," said opera singer Chen Xiaoduo, the protagonist in Chinese modern opera Lin Huiyin.
