Works by the 50 finalists from the 2021 Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Competition are on exhibition at the CCBF. They were selected from 2,426 valid submissions by illustrators from 82 countries and areas. Among them, Yu Chongjing from China and Anna & Varvara Kendel from Russia won the China and International Golden Pinwheel Grand Awards respectively.

The Young Illustrators Avenue at CCBF features works from 33 illustrators and creative groups. They will bring publications, illustrations, and art derivatives to communicate with other professionals in the industry and interact with the readers, showcasing creativity and the potential of new artists.

More than 100 publishers, authors, illustrators and editors will be live-streaming on social media platforms such as Xiaohongshu, wechat and Douyin, introducing their latest publications.

CCBF is presenting a special exhibition named Books and Seeds this year, where more than 200 children's books from 20 countries and regions are showcased, featuring the relationship between humanity and nature.
