A two-day frisbee activity conducted at a primary school in Lhasa, Tibet autonomous region, allowed young students to learn accurate throwing and dribbling techniques in the sport last week.
Supervised by the national frisbee coach and other coaches locally, students from the Dongcheng Branch of Lhasa Experimental Primary School tried the new fashion sport on campus.
Jigme Tsedan, a frisbee coach from Tibet Dreamer Sports Culture Development Co said his company is the first of its kind in Tibet to promote frisbee. It has held more than 20 frisbee experimental activities since 2012.
"We are very pleased to get involved in such an interesting activity. Our eight coaches have assisted national frisbee coaches and judges in bringing frisbee to the school," Jigme Tsedan said.
Ngakwang Gyaltsan, a student at the school, said he was pleased to try frisbee for the first time.
