Chinese culture on show in Nairobi

The 8th Nairobi International Cultural Festival was held at the National Museum in Nairobi, Kenya on Saturday.

Artists from all over the world showed a diversity of cultures in the form of songs, dances, food and other touchstones to enhance friendship and promote exchanges.

The Chinese lion dance, Sichuan Opera face-changing show, ethnic songs and dances organized by the Confucius Institute at the University of Nairobi attracted large audiences.

Chinese calligraphy, pot throwing games, rubbings, Peking Opera facial masks and traditional food were also popular.
