The China Shanghai International Arts Festival announced on Monday that it will make its grand comeback in 100 days.

Scheduled to take place from October 15 to Nov 15, the festival will again bring together international artists from all over the world for theater, dance and music performances and exhibitions.

The number of events and activities will see a significant 20 percent growth from the last edition in 2019.

"In the past three years we have kept close contact with the art communities from home and abroad," said Li Ming, president of the center for CSIAF.

"The festival has provided a broad communications platform for artists from all over the world who have developed unwavering faith in the high-quality growth of China's art market."

About 60 percent of the program will be by overseas artists. A large number of the domestic productions will also be making their Shanghai and even world premiere during the festival.
