Seniors dancers deliver famed ballet to warm audiences

Lacking formal dance background, the seniors had retired from a range of professions and joined the troupe. They practice hard for the same ballet dream.

Wei began to learn ballet with a provincial song and dance troupe at the age of 13. She gained fame when she played the leading role of Xi Er, in The White Hair Girl as a teen.

After retirement, driven by her love of red culture and the pursuit of ballet, she came up with the idea of resuming the dance opera.
