Seniors dancers deliver famed ballet to warm audiences

Over the years, they have performed classic ballets, including The White Hair Girl and The Red Detachment of Women, in major theaters in Wuhan to great acclaim.

To perform the role of Da Chun in the seventh and eighth scenes, 63-year-old Ding Jinhua developed a six-month weight loss plan. He dropped from more than 80 kilograms to 64.

"After losing weight, I can do the dance movements more easily and better," he said. "Dancing is my spiritual support and makes my retirement life an endless joy."
