Event honors 'mother of Chinese dance'

The second Ailian Youth Grand Prix concluded at Beijing's Tianqiao Theater on Thursday, with a grand gala.

Feng Ying, the chairperson of the competition jury of the Ailian Youth Grand Prix, who is also the president and artistic director of the National Ballet of China, presented awards to the winners, along with other jury members, including Frank Andersen, the former artistic director of Royal Danish Ballet, Nina Ananiashvili, artistic director of the State Ballet of Georgia, and Diana White, former soloist with New York City Ballet.
