Expo to focus on furniture

The 28th China International Furniture Expo will be held from Sept 11-15 in Shanghai.

With a total exhibition area of 320,000 square meters, the expo will be held in two places, the Shanghai New International Expo Centre and the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.

Themed "In Now", the exhibition aims to build a globally renowned platform for furniture trade, design, and lifestyles and also provide a conduit for high-quality suppliers and discerning buyers, both offline and online.

Co-hosted by the China National Furniture Association and Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets International Exhibition Co, the event is expected to attract an estimated 20,000 international attendees from 160 countries and regions worldwide, along with 150,000 domestic industry professionals.

During the five-day event, there will be more than 40 activities including forums and special exhibitions gathering more than 100 global furniture industry elites to discuss the innovation and development of China's furniture industry.

The online digital exhibition will be held concurrently from Sept 12-22. Through technologies such as AR, XR, 3D modeling, and cloud rendering, a panoramic and three-dimensional real-time digital showroom will be created, along with a cloud-based exhibition e-commerce platform for precise customer acquisition.
