Global lens: Trauma hits quake victims

"The most important thing is that we are alive," Temera said, her henna-stained fingers fiddling with a piece of paper, her eyes swollen with tears.

International aid groups have mobilized in Morocco. The country has accepted offers of aid from Spain, Britain, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, while the help offered from other countries is pending approval.

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies on Tuesday launched an emergency appeal for $112 million to support the victims of the quake.
