Exhibition gives glimpse of palace childhood and youth

It also puts an emphasis on introducing the royal court's education of the princes and princesses, a complex system that combined Chinese and Western knowledge, culture of ethnic Han, Manchu and Mongol people, humanities and military operations like horseback archery and warcraft — a traditional strength of the Manchu people.

Through the exhibition, visitors can get to know how ancient royal children learned to read and write, how they got to know about music, mathematics and astronomy.
